Overview: The Geargrinder begins the encounter encased in [Protective Plating], slowly generating energy in preparation for [Unrelenting CAR-nage]. While atop her war-tank, Vexie calls in Geargrinder Bikers to assist her. When a biker is defeated they surrender their ride, allowing players to unleash a [Blaze of Glory] and removing an application of [Protective Plating]. Once all [Protective Plating] is removed, the Geargrinder suffers a [Mechanical Breakdown].
While broken down, Vexie begins to [Tune-Up] the war-tank and calls Pit Mechanics to [Repair] the Geargrinder. Once fully repaired Vexie commands the Geargrinder to continue its assault!

  •  Colossal Clash: Upon reaching 100 Energy, Flarendo and Torq clash in the middle of the arena for 20 sec. Their battle inflicts 3 Fire and 3 Nature damage to all players every 1 sec and causes Zapbolts and Fiery Waves to erupt from them.
    Each clash increases the damage of Colossal Clash by 30%. This effect stacks.
    • Zapbolt: Torq calls down lightning strikes that inflict 3354032 Nature damage to players within 5 yards of the impact locations.
    • Fiery Wave: Flarendo unleashes explosion-propelled flames that inflict 60 Fire damage to players hit.
  • Tiny Tussle: Fans periodically throw toys resembling Flarendo and Torq into the arena. Toys charge towards a rival toy within 15 yards, destroying both in the process and inflicting 419254 Fire and 419254 Nature damage to all players every 1 sec for 3 sec . This effect stacks. During Colossal Clash, all toys charge their closest rival regardless of range, inflicting 500% increased damage.
    Toys can be kicked by running into them. (Mythic)
  • Raised Guard: Flarendo and Torq bolster their defenses while within 40 yards of each other reducing their damage taken by 99%. This effect does not occur during Colossal Clash.
  • King of Carnage: The last beast standing becomes the King of Carnage, increasing its damage by 10% every 5 sec and vastly increasing the range of some abilities.
  • Flarendo the Furious
    • Molten Pool: Molten metal spreads across the ground, sending Fiery Waves in multiple directions and inflicting 2515524 Fire damage every 1 sec to players touching it. (Heroic, Mythic)
      • Fiery Wave: Flarendo unleashes explosion-propelled flames that inflict 60 Fire damage to players hit. (Heroic, Mythic)
    •  Blistering Spite: Flarendo radiates flame, applying Blistering Spite to all players within 60 yards every 5 sec. Inflicts 16770 Fire damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. This effect stacks.
    • Scrapbomb: Flarendo spits a ball of scrap that explodes after 10 sec, inflicting 120 Fire damage to all players and knocking back players within 50 yards. This damage is reduced for each player within 8 yards of the Scrapbomb.

      On Heroic and Mythic difficulties, Scrapbombs leaves behind a Molten Pool after exploding.

    •  Molten Phlegm: Flarendo coats a player in molten metal, inflicting 9 Fire damage to all players with 5 yards every 1 sec for 10 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)
    •  Blastburn Roarcannon: Flarendo tracks a target while charging, then locks in place and prepares to fire. Once ready, it fires a beam over the next 3 sec. The beam inflicts 794 Fire damage every 0.1 sec to players on contact, obliterating them.

      On Mythic difficulty, Blastburn Roarcannon fires three beams in a cone.

    •  Eruption Stomp: Flarendo runs several calculations then stomps triggering an eruption beneath their current target that inflicts 16770160 Fire damage and launches them high into the air, releasing Fiery Waves in multiple directions.
  • Torq the Tempest
    • Tempest Unleashed: Torq's suit has been overclocked, causing him to periodically call down.Zapbolts throughout the arena. (Mythic)
    • Static Discharge: A maximum buildup of Static Charge stuns the player for 6 sec.
    • Lingering Electricity: Lingering Electricity inflicts 838508 Nature damage every 1 seconds to players within the area, silencing and pacifying them.
    •  Galvanized Spite: Torq bristles with electricity, applying Galvanized Spite to all players within 60 yards every 5 seconds. Inflicts 16770 Nature damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. This effect stacks.
    •  Static Charge: Torq's suit amplifies the electrical charges generated within 70 yards. Until the next Colossal Clash, an electric charge courses through players that enter into range, inflicting 3 Nature damage every 1 sec. Additionally, while in range, the charge grows when the target moves and depletes when they are stationary. At max charge, it erupts into a Static Discharge.
    • Thunderdrum Salvo: Torq rapidly drums his 'launch' button, firing missiles at all players within 60 yards for 6 sec. Each missiles inflicts 50 Nature damage within 4.5 yards on impact.
    •  Voltaic Image: Torq summons electric images of himself that fixate players for 12 sec. Upon contact, the image explodes, inflicting 55 Nature damage to players within 10 yards and creating Lingering Electricity.

      On Mythic difficulty, Voltaic Images also detonates upon expiration.

Rik Reverb

Rik Reverb loves the boom of an explosion, the crackle of a firework and most importantly, the sound of his own voice. From his flying sonic resonator, Rik serves as Gallywix's partying promoter by enthralling the citizens of Undermine with addictive and deadly goblin beats.

    • Sound Cloud: A nullifying bubble protects Rik Reverb and his flying sonic resonator from harm, reducing damage taken by 99% for 32 sec.
    •  Blaring Drop: Rik's sonic resonator drops down out of the air, unleashing a ring of sonic demise inflicting 4192540 Sonic damage to targets in its wake every 0.5 sec for 3 sec.
    •  Hype Fever!: The third Sound Cloud has no end! Rik consumes his Sound Cloud to increase all damage he inflicts by 500% and continues to cast Blaring Drops endlessly.

It could be said that no city service is more essential than garbage collection... or at least that's what Stix Bunkjunker would like you to believe. Stix and his cleanup crew have been finding inventive ways to dispose of the city's unwanteds and unmentionables for as long as anyone can remember.

    • Garbage Dump: Rolling Rubbish explodes on contact with Stix, inflicting up to (150 / 100)% of his maximum health as Nature damage based on the size of the ball.
      The Rolling Rubbish is destroyed in the process.
    •  Messed Up: When Rolling Rubbish is destroyed, any enemies it absorbed are ejected to nearby locations.
      After this traumatic experience they take 100% increased damage, but can no longer be absorbed by Rolling Rubbish.
    • Rolled!: Rolling Rubbish inflicts 1677016 Physical damage on contact with other players and stuns them for 1 sec.
    • Doomsploded: Inflicts 503105 Fire damage every 2 sec and increases damage taken from Discarded Doomsplosive by 200% for 1 min.
    • Muffled Doomsplosion: Contact with a large enough Rolling Rubbish absorbs the Discarded Doomsplosive, triggering a muffled explosion that inflicts 838508 Fire damage to all players.
      The Rolling Rubbish is destroyed in the process.
    • Territorial: The Territorial Bombshell stubbornly guards its garbage pile, refusing to move and gaining immunity to crowd control effects.
      Upon reaching 75% health, it abandons its garbage pile and this effect is removed.
    • Short Fuse: After 30 sec, the Territorial Bombshell explodes, inflicting 18 Fire damage to all players plus an additional 9 Fire damage every 1 sec for 8 sec and killing itself in the process.
      Contact with a large enough Rolling Rubbish triggers this effect instantly, destroying the Rolling Rubbish.
    • Hypercharged: Excess charge builds up in the target's body, increasing damage taken from Prototype Powercoil by 30% per stack. (Mythic)

    Stix calls in his Cleanup Crew to help dispose of unwelcome visitors.
    • Infected Bite: The Junkyard Hyena sinks its filthy teeth into its current target, inflicting 2515524 Physical damage and reducing all healing they receive by 25% for 10 sec.

  • Overdrive: Stix eventually becomes impatient and forces his mech into Overdrive, temporarily reducing all damage taken by 99% as he soars sky-high and rains down countless Overcharged Bolts.
    He then plunges back down with Trash Compactor and operates at Maximum Output until defeated.
    • Overcharged Bolt: Electricity arcs from Stix's mech to a nearby location, inflicting 4192540 Nature damage to players within 3 yards of the impact.
    •   Trash Compactor: Stix completes the Overdrive process with an explosive landing, releasing an immense wave of electrical energy that inflicts 25155240 Nature damage to players within 15 yards.
      The blast radiates outward inflicting an additional 6708064 Nature damage to all players and knocking them back.

        • Void Barrage: The Invention launches a void projectile every 2.5 sec for 6 sec. Touching a projectile inflicts 40 Shadow damage and triggers a Voidsplash.
          • Voidsplash: Void energy erupts from the impact, inflicting 419254 Shadow damage to all players.

    • Screw Up: Lockenstock marks players, inflicting 12 Nature damage and causing a deadly drill to emerge at their location every 1.5 sec for 4.5 sec.
      Touching a drill causes the player to become Screwed!
      • Screwed!: Touching a drill punctures players, stunning them and causing them to bleed for 670806 Physical damage every 1 sec for up to 6 sec.
    •  Sonic Ba-Boom: Lockenstock fires an enormous blast of gravitational energy, inflicting 1679988 Sonic damage to all players and an additional 335069 Sonic damage every 0.5 sec for 10 sec.
    • Blisterizer Mk. II: Touching a trap causes it snap shut, launching the player into the air and inflicting 335403 Fire damage every 0.5 sec. The pain of the fiery blister additionally increases movement speed by 60% for 6 sec.
    •  Pyro Party Pack: Lockenstock gifts his current target a package of explosives. After 6 sec the recipient explodes, inflicting up to 100 Fire damage to all players. Players further from the impact position receive less damage.
    •  Gravi-Gunk: Lockenstock's attacks cause energy to cling to the current target, increasing all damage taken by 15% and reducing their movement speed by 5%. This effect stacks.
  • Stage Two: Research and Destruction
    • Beta Launch: Upon reaching 100 Energy Lockenstock flings pesky players away from him and begins channeling Bleeding Edge.
    •  Bleeding Edge: Lockenstock debuts his explosive new tech, upgrading an Invention type with potent void energies. In addition, the unstable chemicals unleash a Voidsplosion every 5 sec as torrents of Black Bloodsplatter rain down on the facility for 20 sec.
      •  Voidsplosion: Lockenstock teems with unstable black blood unleashing waves of void energy that inflict 1677016 Shadow damage to all players and cause the next 2859362 healing to be absorbed.
      • Black Bloodsplatter: Gouts of black blood gush out of the canisters throughout the facility splattering to the ground, inflicting 1006210 Shadow damage to players within 2 yards of the impact and disorienting them for 2 sec.
    • Upgraded Bloodtech: Lockenstock becomes empowered by the black blood infusion, increasing his damage done by 15%. This effect stacks.

 

The One-Armed Bandit

The One-Armed Bandit is the premiere slot machine in Gallywix's casino. All the delightful device asks is that you play fairly and don't cheat. The rules by which it determines this are an enigmatic mystery, although the one-armed punishment it dispenses cannot be missed.

  • Overview: The One-Armed Bandit assaults players while slowly gaining energy. Upon reaching 100 energy, it uses [Spin to Win!] to call upon Reel Assistants bearing various symbol Tokens. Defeating these assistants and depositing their tokens within the One-Armed Bandit determines the result.
    After all of the valid combinations have been rolled, the One-Armed Bandit overloads and takes control of its own reels using [Cheat to Win!] in a final attempt to destroy its enemies.

    •  Spin To Win!: The One-Armed Bandit pulls its big arm, calling in Reel Assistants and spinning the reels rapidly for 30 sec. Defeating an assistant makes it drop its Token, which players can deposit in the One-Armed Bandit to lock it in.
      When two Tokens are locked in, the "Fabulous Prize" is dispensed.
      •  Fraud Detected!: The One-Armed Bandit successfully cheats when not enough Tokens are deposited or a previously selected reel combination is locked in, permanently increasing its damage done by 500%. (Normal, Heroic, Mythic)

        •  Dark Lined Cuirass: Reel Assistants wear D.L.C. armor, preventing them from being damaged below 20% health.
          Smashing them with a Pay-Line chip unlocks the rest of the health bar. (Mythic)
        •  Overload!: The assistant releases a massive jolt of electricity, inflicting 6288810 Nature damage to all players and knocking them back.
        •  Withering Flames: Reel Assistants wrap flames around a player, inflicting 22 Fire damage every 1 sec for 30 sec. This inferno reduces the targets maximum health by 5% every time the flames inflict damage.
          Upon removal, Traveling Flames erupt outwards from the player.
          • Traveling Flames: Colliding with Traveling Flames inflicts 6708064 Fire damage and knocks players back.
        • Electric Blast: The Reel Assistant blasts its target, inflicting 1509314 Nature damage. Every 2 sec for 6 sec, electricity arcs off of the target and inflicts 5 Nature damage to all other players. This effect stacks.
      • Golden Ticket: Each time the One-Armed Bandit spins its reels, it gains 5% attack speed. This effect stacks.
    • Pay-Line: The One-Armed Bandit rolls a massive casino chip towards players, causing anyone caught in its path to become Crushed!. Players can stand near the path to become a High Roller!.

        • Bad Belated Boom: Loaded with out-of-compliance "safety fuse" these bombs scatter detonating late inflicting 4190688 Fire damage to players within 7 yards and applies Blast Burns.
        •  Overloaded Rockets: The blast lights the good stuff attaching some OL rockets to unsuspecting fools for 5 sec.
          Upon removal these rockets blast out in indicated directions inflicting 2934778 Fire damage every second for 9 sec to impacted players, knocking them back.
        •  1500-Pound "Dud": DUD-1500 munitions embed into the arena exploding after 15 sec inflicting 6708064 Fire damage to all players plus an additional 2515524 Fire damage every 3 sec for 9 sec. This effect stacks.
          Interacting with the ordnance instead focuses the blast inflicting 160 Physical damage and applying Focused Detonation, additionally knocking back.
          • Focused Detonation: The ordnance's blast sears inflicting 1677016 Fire damage every 1 sec for 10 sec. This effect stacks.
            Focused Detonation triggers a Time-Release Crackle upon removal.
            • Time-Release Crackle: A two-stage effect releases bombettes throughout inflicting 2515524 Fire damage to all players.
        • Zagging Zizzler: Miniaturized rockets zing from the pile inflicting 838138 Fire damage every 1 sec for 15 sec. This effect stacks.
      •  Combination Canisters: Gallywix taps into his reserve stash firing both Fused Canisters and Tick-Tock Canisters at the same time.
        After 6 sec the Fused Canisters detonate inflicting 100 Fire damage to players within 8 yards, and after 5 sec the Tick-Tock Canisters detonate inflicting 30 damage to players within 4 yards. These effects split evenly among effected players.
        All targets become afflicted with Mechengineer's Canisters.
        If this fails to hit at least 1 target all players suffer the full effect.
        • Mechengineer's Canisters: Gallywix's experiment covers afflicted enemies absorbing 2859362 healing for 30 sec.
          Upon expiration or consuming this healing implodes the canister incurring Canister Detonation.
          • Canister Detonation: Explodes inflicting up to 16800000 Shadow damage to all players based on the remaining healing absorb in the Mechengineer's Canister.

            On this difficulty, Canister Detonation effects all players.

        • Fused Canisters: After 6 sec these detonate inflicting 100 Fire damage to players within 8 yards. This damage splits evenly among effected players.
        • Tick-Tock Canisters: After 5 sec these detonate inflicting 30 Fire damage to players within 4 yards. This damage splits evenly among effected players.
      • Giga Blast: Gallywix blasts lightning in a direction inflicting 60 Nature damage plus an additional 3 Nature damage every 1 sec for 10 sec. This effect stacks.
        • Giga Blast Residue: Charged ions remain after a Giga Blast for 21 sec. Upon contact charges a Discharged Giga Bomb, or inflicts 20 Nature damage and stuns for 8 sec when one is not present. This consumes the residue.
        • Giga BOOM!: Giga Bombs detonate after 3.5 min or when struck by Giga Blast inflicting 4195000 Nature damage plus an additional 252000 Nature damage every 1 sec to all players for 9 sec. This effect stacks.
      • Giga Coils: Gallywix charges and activates The House of Chrome's Giga Coils inflicting 15 Nature damage to all players every 1 sec. This effect stacks for each active Giga Coil.
        Giga Bomb Detonation damages the Giga Controls interrupting Gallywix's Giga Coils, and Giga Coils become Sabotaged Coils upon losing both Giga Controls. This creates Sabotage Zone.
      • Suppression: Gallywix shrapnels subordinates for 3 sec inflicting 2933018 Fire damage plus an additional 167999 Fire damage every 0.5 sec to players within 3 yards of indicated locations for 6 sec. This effect stacks.
        • Gallybux Finale Blast: Gallywix finishes this Suppression with pizzaz firing a massive shock at a targeted location inflicting 25155240 Nature damage to all players, decreasing in damage as distance increases.
      • Venting Heat: Gallywix's machines dump excessive heat over 4 sec inflicting 2515524 Fire damage to all players plus an additional 419254 Fire damage every 1 sec.
        • Overheating: Gallywix's contraption dissipates inefficiently increasing the duration of Venting Heat by 1 sec. This effect stacks.
      •  Greedy Goblin's Armaments
        •  Trick Shots: Gallywix gains a stack of Trick Shots every 4 sec.
          Upon reaching 10 stacks or when changing primary target all shots release inflicting 40 Physical damage and an additional 7 Fire damage every 1 sec for 9 sec, each. This effect stacks, and cannot be dodged.
        •  Ego Check: Gallywix gives his current target a 4-hit knuckle sandwich, inflicting 40 Physical damage each strike. These blows cannot be dodged or parried.
          Additionally 90% of unmitigated damage is inflicted as a Checked Ego.
          •  Checked Ego: Targets struck by Gallywix's Ego Check continually suffer the unmitigated damage as Physical damage every 3 sec for 18 sec. This effect stacks, adding to the effects of previous Checked Ego.
    • Darkfuse Cronies
      •  Giga-Juiced Technician: Upon death drops a Discharged Giga Bomb.
        • Discharged Giga Bomb: Inflicts 838508 Nature damage every 3 sec to the nearest 5 players.
          Upon interaction gain Discharged Giga Bomb, instead suffering 838508 Nature damage every 1.5 sec. This effect stacks.
          • Auto-Locking Cuff Bomb: 3 sec after picking up a Giga Bomb the silver bracelets click, preventing Fling Giga Bomb and picking up additional Giga Bombs.
            If for any reason this aura removes the shackles detonate inflicting 12577620 Fire damage to all players.
          • Fling Giga Bomb: Ditch the Giga Bomb you are holding.
          •  Giga Bomb Detonation: Carrying a Giga Bomb in front of Giga Controls automatically detonates the Giga Bomb inflicting 10 Nature damage to players within 8 yards, and sabotages nearby Giga Controls based on the health of the bomb.
            Additionally this jolt grants 30% increased movement speed for 10 sec.

            On this difficulty, Giga Bomb Detonation damages the Giga Controls based on the Giga Bomb's health.

          • Giga BOOM!: Giga Bombs detonate after 3.5 min or when struck by Giga Blast inflicting 4195000 Nature damage plus an additional 252000 Nature damage every 1 sec to all players for 9 sec. This effect stacks.
        •  Ionization: Excites the magnetic field ionizing players inflicting 419254 Nature damage every 1 sec and reducing movement speed by 20% for 9 sec.
        •  Static Zap: The techie jolts a targeted player, inflicting 4192540 Nature damage, stunning them for 4 sec.
        •  Shock Barrage: The Sharpshot Sentry focuses charged energy at a target for 4 sec inflicting 3354032 Nature damage and up to an additional 2096270 Nature damage every 0.5 sec.
        •  Wrench: The hobgoblin is holding a wrench. Doing so he now knows how to strike someone with the wrench inflicting 3354032 Physical damage and increases Wrench damage taken by 40%. This effect stacks, and causes quite a headache.
        •   Lumbering Rage: The hobgoblin does what he does best - get mad. Then he lumbers towards his target inflicting 50% increased damage done with 50% reduced movement speed for 12 sec.
        •   Double Pay Contract: Gallywix hastily scribbles a contract for double wages (if they survive, that is) increasing the Wrenchmonger's damage by 100% while nearby.
