Undermine Rare Mobs

Undermine is full of rares, with a total of 21 rares to kill around the zone. Most of the Undermine rares are the same as normal rares, but some are zone-wide events that end up spawning Rare Elites - and some of them can only be initially summoned by aligning yourself with a specific Cartel!

When killed, rares drop  Valorstones, along with a chance to also drop gear for your specialization. All Undermine rares can be killed for their rewards once per day, and their loot lockdowns are reset with the daily quest reset. There is an achievement for killing 10 rares in Undermine,  Adventurer of Undermine. Below is a map with all known Undermine rare spawns and more detailed information about them.

Each chest requires completing a quick series of puzzles to unlock.  Gorillion Fork: Behind Madam Gosu at the southern portion of Hovel Hill.  Gorillion Grease: On top of a mountain on the southeastern portion of Undermine, between The Heaps and the Emerald Hills Golf Course.  Gorillion Batteries: On top of a mountain on the northeastern portion of Undermine, overlooking the Plunder Party area of the Blackwater Marina.  Gorillion Engine: Under the stairs just to the east of the Incontinental Hotel, at the Heaps area.  Gorillion Chasis: Under a balcony on the southwestern part of the Vatworks. Once all Gorillion pieces are looted, you'll earn the achievement  Nine-Tenths of the Law. Combining them creates  Inoperative Gorillion, which starts the quest  Inoperative Gorillion. Completing this quick quest awards the pet.

 

C.H.E.T.T. Tasks

The Concierge, Honored Employee, and Transaction Terminal, aka C.H.E.T.T., is located on the second story of the Incontinental Hotel in Undermine. This machine not only sells a variety of unique beverage items, but also introduces a way for players to make a good chunk of Valorstones for completing tasks around Undermine.

Talking to C.H.E.T.T. and signing up as an employee will give players a  C.H.E.T.T. List. Right-clicking this item will bring up a menu displaying all sorts of different tasks for players to complete around Undermine including completing Delves, aligning with a Cartel, and more! Each list contains 8 tasks, with each individual task rewarding 10 Valorstones.

Once a player has completed 4 of the 8 Tasks, the  C.H.E.T.T. List will become a  Completed C.H.E.T.T. List, which a player can turn back at C.H.E.T.T. for a whopping 250 Valorstones.

As of the 11.1 PTR, the C.H.E.T.T. Lists have a weekly lockout. Once a player completes their first C.H.E.T.T. list for the week, they will not be able to grab another one until the next reset. It appears there is a way to bypass this lockout, however we are unsure of how to do so at this moment.

Scrap Digging

Relevant weeklies:  Reduce, Reuse, Resell

Scrap digging is a new activity unlocked in Undermine, starting with Renown 3 with the Cartels of Undermine.

Once you go through the tutorial quest  Trash to Profit and the follow-up  On-the-Job Training, you can start doing S.C.R.A.P. Jobs in Undermine. To locate them, look at the Undermine world map for trash icons. Once you find one, head to the area and speak with the NPC in the area, S.C.R.A.P. Heap, to start a job.

Once a job starts, you have 5 minutes to dig through as much trash as possible! Digging trash will give you a new currency,  Empty Kaja'Cola Can. As you dig, you will face enemies that will distract you and require killing. You can use some things to speed up your shoveling speed, such as obtaining special Kaja'cola that increases your speed, or even paying off a S.C.R.A.P. Bot to help you dig even faster. There is a limit of 1000 digs that can be done on each S.C.R.A.P. Job.

At the end of the 5 minutes, a Dented Crate will spawn that can be looted for Gold,  Valorstones, and  Resonance Crystals.

There are certain increases for S.C.R.A.P. Jobs depending on your Renown standing with the Cartels of Undermine:

• Renown 6: Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.pper II: Your shovel rate at scrap heaps is increased, and you may purchase  Kaja'Cola X-Treme from Kaja'Cola Dispensers at S.C.R.A.P. Job sites to provide further benefits at scrap heaps.
• Renown 11: Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.pper III: Speak to Smaks Topskimmer at the Incontinental Hotel to learn how to find  Gunk-Covered Thingy at scrap heaps.
• Renown 14: Kaja'Cola Collector: You now have a rare chance to uncover  Vintage Kaja'Cola Can while shoveling at scrap heaps.
• Renown 16: Scrappy S.C.R.A.P.pper IV: You may now purchase  Kaja'Cola X-Treme Mega-Can and  Multi-Pack of Kaja'Cola from Kaja'Cola Dispensers at S.C.R.A.P. Job sites to provide stronger benefits to yourself or those around you while at scrap heaps.

Both  Empty Kaja'Cola Can and  Vintage Kaja'Cola Can can be exchanged for rewards with Angelo Rustbin at the Undermine Sanitation building in Hovel Hill.
